| I have officially switched to night shift and I don't think it will be so bad.
Positives:
I see Ashley in the mornings when I come home and in the evenings when I get up
I can sleep all day if I desire
I get to watch the sunset as I go to work and the sunrise as I come home
I get to hold the babies in the nursery
Negatives:
Its harder to build relationships with patients in the middle of the night b/c they are sleeping
Babies cry all night
I may never feel "rested"
5am is a horrible time b/c I just want to go to bed

| My new hardwood floors are finished! My basement flooded today b/c my washing machine decided to keep filling and filling and filling and I didn't realize it until an hour later and the water was up to my ankles...yuck! It took me an hour to remove all the standing water with buckets and now my carpet has to dry...at least I don't have to sleep down there anymore since our wood floors are done! |

| We have moved and we LOVE our new home. It felt like a home the minute we had all our boxes in our house. We still have work to do like painting and making the house our own, but I am looking forward to it. As of October 28th, I will be switching hours at my job. I am not really looking forward to it, but I don't have a choice. Please pray the I have a peace of mind about it and that something else will open up if my new hours don't work out for me. I love where I work right now so I don't want to leave. |
